My second visit and no change. First class lovely menu with variety. I had gammon steak and it was a steak. Well cooked sliced like a surgeons scalpel. Although it was busy, the service was very good. Time between courses. Well priced for good quality.

We stayed for 2 nights. Beds were really comfortable, rooms were clean and there was minimal noise to say we were above a pub. The only criticism was that the curtains didn't block out the morning sun. Breakfast was good, good quality food and staff were brilliant . Would definitely stay again.

First visit. Had the lunch menu. The bacon, black pudding and poached egg with pepper sauce was so tasty. For main - had fish goujons, chips, and mushy peas. The batter was perfect.

Hidden gem. If you vist the area I highly recommend staying here. On arrival we were greeted by the fabulous Sue. Immaculate room and very comfortable bed. Evening meals and breakfast were 1st class. Bar staff very friendly (Peter) and offered loads of advice to us. We will be back.

Oh my goodness, yet another gem has been discovered. Monday to Thursday until 4pm 2 or 3 course menu 14:50 - 17:50. Last visit was for Sunday Dinner Generous portions indeed, choice of two meats, roast spuds, mash, carrots & parsnips roasted, French beans, red cabbage, broccoli , Yorkshire pudding & gravy!! All freshly cooked & prepared. Hubby had a double cheese burger & fries & onion rings. Once again generous portions. The place is very tastefully decorated, staff friendly.

I went with a friend for afternoon tea. The interior deco was eyecatching. The toilets were clean and centrally placed. When we were seated we were offered drinks and told the food would follow shortly, which it did. The food was one rack and each of the plates were chilled, which kept the food cooled. My friend ordered a large pot of tea and I had a large glass of cordial. We were offered refills of drinks which we accepted. We enjoyed our afternoon tea and would recommend it to anyone. Beside the afternoon tea there are other menus available. I believe there is some accommodation available and function rooms.

My partner and I came along with 4 more adults and baby , we recieved a lovely welcome and was seated within seconds. The food was amazingly delicious and plenty of it ,and the staff attentive and efficient. Absolutely enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it . Cant wait to go back to try a Sunday roast x

Me and my partner went for the 3 meat roast dinner again here and it was lovely. The staff were polite and very friendly, we will be returning again to try more of the menu.
